Although it’s my grandfather’s rig...

But can you really win when there is no moose in your picture? This is camping!

Not at the campground but we were camping near Glacier National Park at the time.

The fancier your rig, the less camping you’re doing. You lose at camping.

Blame my grandparents haha. It’s nice not getting rained on though.

I took the moose picture while boat camping on Lake Roosevelt (Columbia River) with some friends. Scared the shit out of me when mamma there came wandering through our camp. I took the picture while keeping a boat between me and her.

That’s cool. We had some trees and the big Glacier NP red tour bus protecting us haha.

I bet! It would definitely be nice to have an RV, but tents are just so fun.

They’re pretty nice. The one time I tented I got rained on though, and because it was a bike trip we couldn’t really avoid it lol.

I bet waking up in a queen / king bed, making breakfast in a full kitchen, then taking a luxurious dump-n-shower is wayyyyyy more fun than tenting.

Not even close. That defeats the entire purpose of camping. It’s cheaper at that point to just use a hotel.

I always say you either gotta go full primitive (including hiking in and sleeping at least 5 miles from the car) or you bring the whole damned luxury house with you. Anything in between is just some combination of both worlds, but neither.

I don’t know about winning, but you for sure were a lot more comfortable than me and my Celica at the Nurburgring a week ago.
